23-Springtime

Greetings dear friend
So happy to see you again
I cannot count the times
You have crossed my mind
I’ve missed the warmth you bring
Along with the season’s green
The flowers in every hue
The nesting birds too
Although your stay is brief
I shan’t suffer any grief
Only a grateful heart
And longing at your depart
